De Kruik (Marokko)
“De Kruik ” was produced in okt. 1998 by Het Waterhuis. An outdoor show; hilarious confrontation between two caracters from different cultural background. Direction/Set: Roel Twijnstra. Script: Roel Twijnstra, based on a short story by Pirandello. With: Kees van Loenen and Abdellatif Khammouli. Production:Henk Bothof. De Kruik toured The Netherlands but also Marokko in dec. 1998 and 1999. The production of these tours was done in co-operation with Complexe Culturel Moulay Rachid in Casablanca. The video about the project was made by MTV(Amsterdam) of the tour to Figuig there “The Kruik” was played in a French/Arabic translation. In 2007 this show was adapted for a South African version.
